Just an Update!

Hi everyone, sorry I've abandoned you guys for the last little while. It's quite obvious I haven't been as active as a blogger or as a reader as well. Sometimes life just catches up with you and there's really nothing we can do about it. So here's what's been going on...

I just got into high school yada yada, and it's a lot busier than I expected it to be! The sad part is that it's going to be a lot worse for the next two years of my life so that's a joy. It's not that I've been completely swamped with homework, it's just that at the end of the day when I've done all things necessary, I just want to sleep. Yeah, I could relax by reading a book but then I always worry about having to write up a review for it later on. So for now, I've just written down all my thoughts in a notebook so that when I have time, there are notes I can refer to. Although, I haven't had time...

It's my winter break and my homework load isn't too bad: a social essay and a quiz to study for.. then midterms at the end of January. But, I have a piano exam to worry about. About 2 months ago, I registered for my ARCT Performers exam which will take place in January at the exact same time as my midterms so my Christmas break consists of homework, and pretty much piano lessons every other day leading up to the exam. Plus, I'm more focused on just spending more time with the friends I've been missing from my old school as well :)

What I'm trying to say here is that I'll try and push myself to do these reviews just because I know I can do them, but I'm just too lazy. I don't know if this is just the end of a phase or something, so yeah. The key thing keeping me from completely just stopping this is the people I've met through starting up a blog in the first place. Even though I can't find the time to go to meet-ups I occasionally do somehow interact with the bloggers here in Edmonton.

So what are my New Years Resolutions?

1. Maintain this blog for as long as I can humanly do
2. Try and comment more on other blogs
3. Volunteer more
4. Get a freaking job
5. Get my Learners'
6. Just keep on keepin' on........
