Photography: December Wrap-Up and January Goals

I'm trying out something new where I'll post my favourite pictures of the month. Not sure about it, but since it's a new year, I might as well try new things. If you don't know already, photography is another passion of mine. I have a tab for photography, but I figured I would reserve that for just random pictures, and have monthly wrap up posts for the "photo-a-day" challenge.

You've probably seen this from my Festival of Trees post.

Wall stickers!!!

Steak for dinner on Christmas

Pasta and asparagus with cream of mushroom soup, made by yours truly

I got a new lens so I decided to take more pictures. Here's one of the ornaments
on my tree,

and here's the other.

Garland that I wrapped around the railing.

My Christmas tree when I turn the camera way out of focus. I love creating bokeh.
And these topics are my goals for January: You saw it here, so now you can hold me accountable when I don't do at least 15 of these themes.

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and also got some new things on Boxing Day if you went shopping! I just got money from my relatives, but used that to get a camera lens, a shirt, new gloves, and yes, a book. I got some reading done this week as well and it felt great considering the fact that I hadn't read in like two weeks.

Sad thing is, there's only a week left to my break, which means it'll be homework everyday again! I hope I haven't let my brain rot too much this week. Happy New Year, and happy reading! What did you get for Christmas?

AS YOU CAN TELL BY THE TITLE, I'M FREE! Free from what, you may ask? School and homework! Yea, it's only for 2 weeks, but that's 2 weeks where I can start reading again. I haven't read for 2 weeks. 2 weeks is a longer time than it may seem. I promise there will be a review this week, if not, I give you permission to come to my house and slap me.

Haha, Merry Christmas everyone, and happy reading! :)

Getting Festive!

I don't have anything Christmas related on the blog, but I did go to a festival in Edmonton called the Festival of Trees. It's where they showcase beautiful trees donated by people, and it's just awesome! I was there to perform with the school band, and we all got to walk around afterwards. There won't be a lot to read in this post, just enjoy the pictures!!

It's so cute!! :3

Polar bear decoration.

More decorations, loved it!

This snow globe is so pretty.

Weirdest thing ever.. haha

A tree wrapped around the picture below this!!

It actually changed colour on the inside, it was so nice!

I love this one! It's a cake.

I gotta say though, this one is my favourite!
